Summer schedule approved for airlines
Vietnam Travel in BriefThe Civil Aviation Administration of Viet Nam approved last week the 2009 summer schedule for the 44 international airlines operating flying into Viet Nam.
Most of the carriers fly to the country’s largest international airports, Noi Bai in Ha Noi and Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City.
CAAV said the two latest carriers to operate flights to Tan Son Nhat are the US-based Northwest Airlines and Australia’s Qantas Freight who will begin to fly daily in June.

Other routes, Ho Chi Minh City to Hue, Vinh and Hai Phong and Hanoi-Nha Trang, will still have one flight per day.
