The simple truth is that people can either make it or break it. There’s little in between. I believe in friendship at first sight. With some people you hit off right away. And with some you just don’t and never, alright never say never, really will.
At my arrival in Vietnam the first person I met was Aurore. I jumped into her just driving taxi at a whim and asked her if she was going to the backpackers area. She was and we ended up sharing a room and spending that evening and day after together. Then she was meeting up with her 15 year older, ex-lover, so we went our own ways. She works for an NGO in Cambodia though so we’ll surely meet again.

My dear familiar faces,

Today is my last day in HoChiMinh, Vietnam as I embark the journey into Cambodia tomorrow morning. Vietnam has been good to me so far, within a week I have traveled from the lovely sites in the north of HaoLonBay to the great city of HoChiMinh in the south. I have communicated with the local people and have seen how skillful in the arts they are, from paintings to labor the Vietnamese people are very special. I wonder what to do in my last day, I have tasted their food, visited their streets, and now is time for preparation for my next journey. With courage in my heart I go on. As always best to all.

A little tired, since have been traveling a lot , about 4 cities in one week, already 10 days have passed and already been through Hong Kong, (Shenzhen)China, (Nanning) China, and Hanoi (North Vietnam), Haolong Bay (North Vietnam) and now HoChiMinh/Saigon (South Vietnam), all in 10 days. My pace is fast to thatit can be compared to the busy life in Hong Kong, one of the fastest cities in the world, and now I am taking a breather/rest until I figure out how to travel next.

Vietnam is a buuuuusy place, with motorcycles and winding roads is one of those places you can get lost easily. We ate breakfast very late, visited a city close by called Bat Tranh where there are a lot of crafts, walked a lot, and later ate lunch late which is somehow detremental, specially when you are in a place so far away, so the tittle goes keep going. Hay que seguir, means one has to keep going with God, and make the best out of every situation, in other news tomorrow well head to Hao Long Bay, sometimes I wish I could hurry the trip, since I have been traveling a lot, 4 cities in one week, will try to stay positive

New air route to Cambodia tipped

Viet Nam and Cambodia are planning to open two routes linking the coastal city of Sihanoukville in Cambodia with Phu Quoc Island and Can Tho city in Viet Nam.

According to the Secretariat of Civil Aviation of Cambodia (SSCA), Vietnam Airlines and SSCA are conducting a feasibility study for the two new routes. The chairman of the Cambodian Association of Travel Agents, Ho Vandy, said both Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang Province and Can Tho city were attractive tourism centres in Viet Nam. Once launched, the weekly flights will help transport a large number of foreign tourists to Cambodia, he added.
