Dear you all,
Since I came to the north about a week and a half ago I’ve got to see, no less than, three natural wonders. And no, I still haven’t had enough of them. Halong Bay, Ninh Binh and Sapa, one by one, here I go: Halong bay is stunning, utterly and ultimately stunning!
My dearest,
The most important things I’ve picked up while traveling making my daily backpackers life easier are the following; As this story’s title states ‘A coke a day keeps stomach problems away’. A combination of after sun and tiger balm make great aftershave.
Hi home!
My feet are freezing. And before long I will lose all feeling in my fingers. Plus my clothes smell bad and refuse to dry. Hello rain, goodbye sun it is. With 6 more days in Vietnam I’ll let the weather define whether I’ll get a visa extension or not.
Dear loved ones!
I have some catching up to do and since the weather is going to be terrible coming five days, I believe I’ll have loads of time to do so. I know this might seem surprising but my next theme is… motorbikes.
There are few places on earth as captivating and as energising as Vietnam and if you are considering a vacation there then you should definitely make time to visit the former capital city, Ho Chi Minh City.
No holiday to Saigon would be complete without seeing the incredible pagodas throughout the city. Don’t forget your camera when touring the Jade Emperor Pagoda. Look up for beautiful pictures of the green tiled roof. The roof of the Quan Am Pagoda is decorated with scenes from traditional plays. Phung Son Pagoda is rich with statues and Phuoc An Hoi Quan Pagoda houses beautiful porcelain fiqures.
Today is my last day in HoChiMinh, Vietnam as I embark the journey into Cambodia tomorrow morning. Vietnam has been good to me so far, within a week I have traveled from the lovely sites in the north of HaoLonBay to the great city of HoChiMinh in the south. I have communicated with the local people and have seen how skillful in the arts they are, from paintings to labor the Vietnamese people are very special. I wonder what to do in my last day, I have tasted their food, visited their streets, and now is time for preparation for my next journey. With courage in my heart I go on. As always best to all.
A little tired, since have been traveling a lot , about 4 cities in one week, already 10 days have passed and already been through Hong Kong, (Shenzhen)China, (Nanning) China, and Hanoi (North Vietnam), Haolong Bay (North Vietnam) and now HoChiMinh/Saigon (South Vietnam), all in 10 days. My pace is fast to thatit can be compared to the busy life in Hong Kong, one of the fastest cities in the world, and now I am taking a breather/rest until I figure out how to travel next.
